The cabins are approached by a private drive which winds through woodland, home to a number of peregrine falcons, many red deer, foxes, badgers, wild boar and other wildlife.

Although many guests will choose to enjoy the peacefulness and total seclusion afforded by these beautiful surroundings, for those wishing to explore, the Exmoor National Park lies just 2 miles distance. There are a host of country pursuits within easy reach, including walking, fly and sea fishing, pony trekking, game and clay pigeon shooting, bird watching and mountain biking. There are golf courses at Tiverton and Minehead and there are a number of award-winning beaches on the North Coast
