Set in an idyllic certified conservation area within the heart of the Exe valley and surrounded by 100 acres of untouched private woodland, Wonham Heights offers a unique holiday experience. The setting for the log cabin is as tranquil as it is spectacular; west-facing, it nestles at the base of a 250-foot crag which is home to an abundance of wildlife, including a number of peregrine falcons. Outside are lawns, a small lake, and a barbeque area.

Completed in 2005, the cabin sleeps up to four adults and offers a blend of traditional country living with all the modern necessities. It comprises a large triple-aspect living-room with dining area, two comfortable bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and well-appointed bathroom/shower room. The large verandah is a perfect place to enjoy those well-deserved evening drinks.

The cabin has its own private drive which winds through woodland, home to many red deer, foxes and badgers - some of which may be seen at dawn or dusk.

Although many guests will choose to enjoy the peacefulness and total seclusion afforded by the beautiful surroundings, for those wishing to explore, the Exmoor National Park lies just two miles to the south.

Exmoor offers a unique blend of high open moorland, intimate deep valleys, ancient oak woodlands and magnificient coastal scenery, providing some of the most beautiful landscapes in Britain which are as equally dramatic in the heart of summer as they are in the depths of winter.
